Watch Jesse's presentation of the Northeastern Arizona Development Act to the Arizona House of Representatives State and International Affairs Committee below. Jesse's proposed legislation would create Arizona's 16th county, Sitgreaves County, out of the southern portions of Navajo and Apache County. Arizona's LD-6 Representative Walter Blackman, the first elected African-American to the State House, announced at the end of Jesse's presentation that he will be introducing the legislation in the January 2020 session. Sitgreaves County was an idea first formed while Jesse was doing research for the screenplay to his debut feature film, 'In The Land Of Good Oaks', which is now in pre-production.
